4" Slate Coaster Alignment Fixture

This alignment tool was designed to hold up to four - 4 inch coasters (round or square). It is 3D Printed on a Raise3d Pro3. Typically any product ordered from our site will ship within 3 days of your order. It will come with 4 alignment clips that will slide over 2 slats on your P2. These clips are screwed into brass inserts that we have installed into coaster alignment plate using stainless steel bolts. You will also receive 2 extra clips in the event of breakage. 6 clips total will be shipped with your order.

• Brass threaded Inserts used to ensure robust threads to hold clips into the template base.
• Stainless Steel hardware is used to secure the clips into the threaded brass inserts.

Basic Steps to using this tool

• Open the P2 so you can access the slats from the top
• Find the appropriate slats you wish to slide the tool clips over. (We like to have the clips over the slats and then have a few inches of empty space around our alignment tool. This allows you to easily lift the completed coaster out of the tool by lifting the coaster with one finger.
• Place your coasters (4" round or square) into the alignment tool.
• Use the auto measure button in XCS to set the correct focal point for your coasters. (The last screenshot above shows this button.)
• Ensure your images are aligned on the coasters.
• Navigate thru XCS and process your project.
• Ensure the path for the laser is clear and you are safe to press the start button on your P2.
• Press the start button on your P2.
• Once coasters are complete, lift a coaster out by using the opening in the alignment tool that is under your coaster. If you look at the first photo in this post you will see we only have slats under the alignment tool and where it attaches to the slats. This leaves plenty of room to pop the coaster up and out.
• Now reprocess your next set of coasters. (We auto measure if there is a question about the height of the coasters.)
